Large bestseller Hackbolt
More than 50 years of trust

Rock bolt origin

The wide bearing collar and the spread of the pin head ensure structural integrity.

Corrosion resistant coatings are also available.

High residual clamping force (axial force) after eliminating clamping between materials.

The highly fatigue-resistant annular fixing groove extends the life of the structure.

[Conclusion process]

c3.png

1. Insert the pin into the prepared hole and place the smooth collar on the pin.

2. Attach the mounting tool to the pin tail section.
When the tool is actuated, the jaws of the nose assembly pull on the pintails and the nose anvil pushes the collar to clear the gap.

3. Nose anvil starts swaging the collar to the fixed groove attached to the pin. If processing is continued, the collar will expand and fastening will occur.

4. When the narrowing down to the fixed groove of the collar is completed, the pin tail separates from the pin and installation work is completed.

If the dimension of [A] or [B] exceeds the specified value, the gripping force of the fastener will be exceeded.
[C] below the specified value indicates an incomplete fastening process.
[D] greater than the specified value indicates an improper or worn anvil on the mounting tool.
